Clinical Department

Our Clinical Department provides caring, trauma-informed therapy for children and their families through individual, group, and family sessions. Each plan is tailored to support emotional healing, build confidence, and help families navigate challenges with confidence.

Amity

Our Peer Support Specialists help youth identify their needs, access resources, and connect with trusted mentors who understand their experiences. Through partnerships with Go Above Inc., Fostering Dream Project, and Olive Support Services, we offer tutoring, music and dance classes, and other supportive activities that encourage creativity and personal growth. This program creates welcoming spaces where youth feel supported, motivated, and empowered to build skills that strengthen their future.

JCOD Care Management (Formerly RICMS)

The Justice, Care, and Opportunities Department supports justice-impacted individuals and communities by coordinating services that prioritize healing, stability, and opportunity. This county initiative brings programs together under one system to advance LA County’s Care First, Jails Last vision and ensure people receive the support they need to move forward with dignity.

United Mental Health Promoters (UMHP)

The United Mental Health Promoters program supports Transitional Age Youth (TAY) ages 18 to 25 who were impacted by COVID-19. We offer early intervention services such as housing support, employment assistance, essential resources, and wellness workshops that help young adults strengthen stability, build connections, and progress toward their goals with confidence.

T.A.Y. (Transitional Age Youth) Drop-In Center

The Post is a welcoming drop-in hub for youth ages 16 to 25 who are navigating homelessness, housing instability, or other life challenges. It offers a calm, supportive space where young people can take a breath, feel safe, and access the help they need. Youth can receive support through: - Peer support and mentorship - Employment guidance and workforce preparation - Weekly table talks and community-building events - Access to resources and linkages that strengthen stability and confidence With each visit, The Post helps youth feel grounded, connected, and supported as they work toward greater stability and possibility.

Developing Opportunity and Offering Reentry Solutions (D.O.O.R.S.)

D.O.O.R.S. offers a creatively inclusive and welcoming community for justice-involved individuals and their families to rebuild with dignity and support. Here, you can connect to essential services that help create stability and open new opportunities, including: - Housing assistance - Employment guidance and placement support - Education and skill-building opportunities - Connections to mental health and substance use services Through community gatherings and wellness resources, this program helps you steady your footing, regain confidence, and step toward new possibilities with hope.

Throughout our history, CCAV has led programs that left a powerful imprint on the community and continue to inform the care we provide today.

HomeUP Program

The HomeUP Program offers substance use counseling, interim housing, case management, and ongoing support for individuals seeking help with sobriety and those experiencing homelessness. Supported by the US Department of Health and Human Services (USDHHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), HomeUP’s ultimate goal is to reduce harm, help participants become clean and sober, and ultimately obtain permanent housing.

Relative Support Services (RSS)

Sponsored by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), this program provided caring support and essential resources for foster grandparents and relative caregivers stepping in to raise children when parents could not do so safely.

WEDO Reentry Program

The WEDO Reentry program offers comprehensive, wraparound support to help justice-involved adults overcome barriers and rebuild their lives after incarceration. The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health funded this pilot initiative.
