Luis D.L. Ramirez II, Psy.D., LMFT

Head of Services

Dr. Luis D. L. Ramirez II is a distinguished psychologist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with nearly 20 years of experience. He currently serves as the Head of Services at The Children's Center of Antelope Valley (CCAV), where he began his journey as a volunteer student. A proud Filipino American born and raised in the Philippines, Dr. Ramirez embodies the belief that the best way to serve is to give back to the community where he grew up—Antelope Valley.


In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ramirez is an Adjunct Professor at both Antelope Valley Community College and the University of Massachusetts Global, where he has been mentoring students and professionals in social work and behavioral health for over a decade. His commitment to community service is demonstrated through his active involvement with Rotary International and the Rotary Club of Aerospace Valley.


Dr. Ramirez has provided invaluable support to countless military families, including active-duty service members, justice-involved individuals, and transitional-aged youth. He is also a dedicated ally and advocate for the LGBTQIAPS community.


Outside of his professional life, Dr. Ramirez is a loving husband and father, cherishing his role in his family. He enjoys spending time as an avid recreational pilot, scuba diver, and traveler. A car enthusiast, he loves restoring old Japanese cars (JDM) and attending car shows. Dr. Ramirez is also a passionate fan of the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Lakers.


As a member of a local road cycling group that promotes family unity, friendships, and behavioral health, Dr. Ramirez continues to embody the values of service, mentorship, and community involvement.
