COVID-19/ Coronavirus Information

At CCAV, the health and safety of our clients, staff, and community remains our highest priority during the COVID-19 pandemic. As an essential service, CCAV is striving to deliver a high standard of excellence and level of support for mental health and community resources, while protecting our employees and the children and families we serve.

Our response includes implementing the following:

  • CCAV clinic phone line and site remain open and operational but is limiting in-person services to urgent situations and following all recommended protocols for social distancing.
  • Families reaching out for services are being assessed and offered services via telehealth or in-person for urgent needs.
  • CCAV staff is proactively reaching out to our current clients and offering telephone and telehealth services to ensure continuity of care and provide support.
  • Our intensive programs are responding to crises in the field as necessary with appropriate safety protections and gear.
  • CCAV is staying up to date with compliance on official protocols released by the Centers for Disease Control Working and the Department of Mental Health.

In-person visits are limited to urgents needs. The following protocols are in place for all persons entering the Center, including employees and clients:

  • All individuals entering the Center must wear a mask.
  • Visitors are subject to temperature check and screening upon arrival. Individuals will be prohibited from entering the Center if they:
    • Have been in contact within the last 14 days with a person suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19
    • Have had a cough or flu-like symptoms, including sore throat, headache, muscle aches, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain or loss of taste or smell in the last 24 hours
    • Felt feverish, experienced chills or had a fever of 100F or greater in the last 48 hours
  • Travel history will be queried; those who have traveled outside the country or domestically within the last 14 days will not be permitted enter the Center.
